Yonna Berry joins the Team

Hebron is excited to welcome even more experience to its sales division with the recruitment of another Account Manager.
Yonna Berry has joined Hebron to help cope with the increasing demand for Hebron's range of specialist software for Independent Schools.

Yonna's Background

With a long history of working with Independent Schools and F&HE (Further & Higher Education) for another MIS provider (Capita), Yonna brings eleven years of knowledge and experience with her.

Yonna has worked in different roles ranging from Technical Support, Product Specialist, Client Relations Manager, and Sales Account Management, which clearly demonstrates her understanding of MIS and Accounting software and their effect upon staff in all roles within the school environment.

'I wanted to work with a product I could truly believe in,' said Yonna. 'I love the schools market and have made some great friends, so to stay in this field with a product like Hebron Engage was a perfect solution.'

Bursary Background

Yonna has even more reason to know the important requirements of MIS software having worked in a bursary for two years being fully hands-on with various MIS and Accounts packages.

Commanding more than meets the Eye

But Yonna becomes even more interesting when you ask her about her out of work activities. In between visiting schools, Yonna is the Commanding Officer of the Gloucester Sea Cadet Corps, and she’s just as ambitious at weekends as she is during the week!

'Three years ago I inherited a failing unit with just seven people,' explains Yonna coolly, 'but it is now one of the most successful units in the country and has thirty-seven cadets.'

Yonna also received the prestigious Burgee Pennant for her services, which very few Commanding Officers ever receive.

Married to a Royal Naval Officer, their son, Jamie, is also a Sea Cadet. 'I think it’s something in the water,' laughs Yonna.

Getting Stuck-In

Yonna knows many people in the Independent Schools market and is looking forward to re-establishing contact with them as well as making new acquaintances so she can show how Hebron Engage can make such a difference to their schools.
