Hebron's 'Technology in Schools' Seminar

Cisco's stunning London Bedfont Lakes HQ was the venue on Wednesday 18th October 2006.

Cisco demonstrated how wireless technology can transform education offering connection to critical information, thereby improving efficiencies across a school's network enabling seamless delivery of media.

Security of a school's network and using the school network for implementation of security devices, was very well received by the delegates.

'Network Security and Data Security,' said Richard Jones, Hebron's Group Sales Director, 'is probably the most important topic at the moment for schools, and gaining interest from Data Protection. Consider the impact of pupils' data being distributed on the internet and how that would impact on a school, let alone its parents.'

Hebron Engage

Delegates' imagination was fired when Hebron's acclaimed MIS Hebron Engage was demonstrated.

It was seen how light work could be made of administrative tasks such as analysing key performance indicators relating to assessment and marketing.

Similarly, how easily and quickly reports could be produced and the time it could save which could be better used elsewhere.

St Joseph's College, Ipswich

Les Baker and Maureen Turner of St Joseph's College, a Hebron development Partner, spoke about why they chose Hebron Engage above any other MIS package.

After using a variety of systems from what some would say are leading suppliers, they felt Hebron Engage outclasses all other systems and was at least two years ahead.
