Having worked for Capita and two LEAs dedicated to the Training and Installation of SIMS.NET, Karen is a welcome addition to Hebron as the demand for Hebron software increases.
'My background is in education, LEA, Capita, and SIMS,' said Karen, 'where I have planned and managed the roll-out of Capita's MIS software across many schools which required project management and training.'
A welcome addition
Carole Denman, Hebron's Operations Manager said, 'We are excited to learn from Karen who brings such a wealth of experience from the education world.
'Karen's appointment will be a welcome addition to the Hebron Team which has been struggling recently to keep up with customer demand for our Hebron Engage software.'
What is the most difficult part of MIS training?
'One of the key areas in planning MIS software installation is encouraging the school's staff to accept change,' said Karen.
'Change means learning and expectation. Opening a staff member's mind to the reality of how much an MIS software will actually benefit them and their working life, is a major part of the training environment.'
The Hebron Academy
Karen is keen to create the Hebron Academy.
'When someone learns something new which brings benefit to a community, it is so important their achievement is recognised. The Hebron Academy will ensure that anyone who receives training and can demonstrate the application of their knowledge to specific standards, will certainly receive recognition,' added Karen.
The Academy will be fully operational by the Summer.
