After more than 10 years working for Hebron, Edina is leaving the company to pursue her dream of working in the world of Ducati classic racing motor cycles.
For the past 12 months, Edina has been spending more and more time working on the company her partner, Nigel, created - Lacey Engineering. In particular, she has been developing their new website (in six languages) and highly successful growth strategy. Lacey Engineering has become the world leader in specialist parts for exceptional motor cycles.
But Edina will not be letting 30 years of business experience go to waste. With her accounting and IT background she will also be working part time as a Business Consultant.
A Real Credit
Throughout the years, Edina has been a real credit to the Hebron team and has seen the company migrate through many changes as technology improved, from the early days of ‘DOS’, through the days of Windows, and more recently to the new era of ‘.NET’ programming.
'It's the wrong time!'
‘I feel I am leaving at just the wrong time,' explained Edina. 'Hebron Engage has taken off so well and is just starting to soar.'
Continuing, Edina added, 'Hebron now has a product which provides exactly what schools need in the 21st century and I have no doubt Hebron will continue to succeed well above the rest within the MIS industry.’
Sad, yet Exciting
‘It’s sad yet exciting,’ said Piers du Pré, Group Chairman. ‘Sad because we’re losing Edina who has been with us for so long. Edina has seen us through thick and thin, and knows many of us and our customers, so well.
'Exciting also,' added Piers, 'because we have just appointed a very well known figure within the Independent School sector, Rob Roy, as a Senior Account Manager.'
Winchester House and St Aubyn's
Edina’s background as a school bursar demonstrates that she is clearly a lady of many talents, a fact that countless schools would endorse heavily. ‘Edina is a very likeable person who always delivered us invaluable training,’ said Barrie Vernecombe of Winchester House. ‘We will certainly miss her.'
David Caudwell of St Aubyn’s also shared his views on Edina’s departure. ‘Edina was always there to provide friendly and accurate help when we needed it. We wish her all the luck in the world.’
To the Future
Edina has formed many treasured relationships with schools across the UK, to which her presence will be missed. Hebron is united in supporting Edina and Lacey Engineering with all the very best for the future success of their company.
The Last Word goes to Edina....
'I am so sorry that I have not been able to call every customer and say goodbye personally,' added Edina. 'I have so enjoyed working with everyone, and I send my best wishes to all.'
